How to download photos on your memorial website
Downloading photos that others have posted is a feature available to all memorial website creators and managers. You can access the download link in one of two sections.
There are two ways you can download photos on Ever Loved, either in Edit Mode or through the Memories tab.
Downloading photos in Edit Mode
Step 1: Enter Edit Mode
To download photos in Edit Mode, you'll first need to enter Edit Mode! You can do this by clicking Edit Mode beneath the memorial card on your dashboard as pictured below:
Step 2: Navigate to the Community Content tab
Scroll down on the left side of the page until you've reached the Community Content tab. Click Community Content.
Step 3: Click the request download button
In the top right corner, click the "Request download link" button.
Step 4: Download the photos
Once you've requested a download link, you will receive an email (sent to the email address you're currently logged in with. (If you don't know what email address that is, you can check in your User Settings). You can either download the photos from the email or you can refresh the page you're on and click the Download photos button in the top right hand corner to download all of the photos.
Step 5: Unzip the file
The photos you've downloaded will be downloaded in the form of a .zip file. If you're unfamiliar with this file type, .zip files are, you can read more about them here, but they're basically a common file type that's a compressed version of the photos that were posted on the website. To open a .zip folder, you'll need to click on the .zip folder and go to 'Extract All' on your computer system. Here is a thorough guide on extracting files from a .zip folder.
Downloading photos on the Memories tab
Step 1: Go to the Memories tab and scroll to the bottom of the page
You can find the Memories tab on your memorial website by heading to your dashboard and clicking View Memorial. Then scroll down and click the Memories tab. Once there, scroll to the very bottom of the Memories page.
Step 2: Click the Download all photos > Request download link
Step 4: Download the photos
You can either refresh the page to see a download button appear, or you can download the link that was emailed to you.
Step 5: Unzip the file.
